Open Beta is designed to test games servers and help developers to balance factions. If you want to register in order to get into the free beta of Warhammer Age of Sigmar: Realms of Ruin, you should go to the official page for the occasion. But for PCs and consoles, it’ll also be possible to use the classic mouse-and-key control. Players also experience DirectStep Control for the first time, which allows you to send quick orders, switch between squads and control the battlefield via a control.

On the whole, the open beta allows you to play against AI-driven bots. The Open-By-Beer, for example, offers a mode Victory Point, for which you must fight 1v-1 for map dominance, with control points and on multiple fronts, and with resources and managing the fight.

The open beta can be played on consoles without a subscription, but the Frontier account must be used.

Players can buy and play the beta on their respective platforms and jump into 1-v1 cross-platform multiplayer matches with two full factions, the Stormcast Eternals and the Orruk Kruleboyz. Frontier Developments announced the release of a virtual game, Open Beta of the Warhammer Age of Sigmar, new real-time strategy game for PC, PS5 and Xbox X/S.
